Kahanikar wins in India!
Kahanikar (The Storyteller) has been awarded the Best Animation Film (Indian) at the 10th Pune International Film Festival in India!
The jury's citation:
'We chose a film whose style stood out above the rest.
The winner’s clever use of textures marries live footage and stylized backgrounds. It has deceptively simple looking animation in both monochrome and colour, sympathetic characterization introducing a small girl with a positive attitude and above all deft storytelling with a pleasing mythical aspect.'
